Tai Chi, like many martial arts, was traditionally taught within a specific closed circle – for example often passed from father to son, mother to daughter, Master to disciple. Over time, however, this tradtition has slowly been eroded and instead of this small closed circle teaching, Tai Chi has now emerged in public parks all over China. Unfortunately, this mass interest means that the traditional and original style of teaching and the philosophy of Tai Chi have almost been lost.
Fortunately, Master Huang is a 12th Generation Tai Chi Chuan, and therefore his Tai Chi style has been passed down directly from Master to Master. This means that his teaching style remains traditional and unique, and more importantly he understands the philosophy of Tai Chi as it has been passed down to him directly from his Masters |
